It looks like everything is operating within normal parameters, but leaving this status open until we’re certain that there isn’t merely some dormant underlying cause. There shouldn’t be, but overconfidence would be a mistake.

IMAP performance "should" be a clear issue with clear paths to resolution. This one is a bit strange. There is no way to resolve it other than to test adjustments and configuration changes to the IMAP server in production, this exact issue cannot be replicated in staging when it's cause is not so apparent. However, we will continue to test changes until we get it right. While we expect it to already be better, it may take some time to be confident in that, so this status will remain open for an extended period of time regardless of the state of the issue.

We are having problems paying our vendor, Crossbox (mail.mxlogin.com) because they no longer take PayPal, and no US credit card company is allowing us to make payments to their country. We are working to find a way to get money to them, but until that time there is a possibility that Crossbox may display a license error. If that is the case, please use any of our other webmail clients or your own email client. Crossbox is but one of our webmail options, we’re also quite proud of webmail.mxroute.com as it’s a very cozy Roundcube setup.

Postmortem: Heavy L7 DDOS attack. If you are unable to open mail.mxlogin.com our support may have to manually unblock your IP address, as it wasn't likely possible to mitigate this without false positives.

The Crossbox webmail instance (mail.mxlogin.com) is under a massive DDOS attack. Please use webmail.mxroute.com as this is going to take a bit to clear up.

Currently investigating the Bad Gateway error on Crossbox (mail.mxlogin.com). During this time, you may wish to use your existing email client or webmail.mxroute.com. While Crossbox is considered an important part of our infrastructure, this is not considered a service outage but simply an outage of one of our available webmail clients.

Our billing system at accounts.mxroute.com is currently unable to reach any of our US-based mail servers, including the one that it uses to send out welcome emails, invoices, etc. We're working on it.

We are finally considering DDOS attacks to be resolved.

We've had a significant DDOS attack against the majority of our server fleet within the last several hours. For the most part, users have been shielded from this. However, our busiest users may have noticed intermittent SMTP availability during that time. A complete inability to reach our servers is not expected and may indicate that your IP address was logged performing the same patterns as the attackers. This status will remain up as we monitor this situation throughout the day.
