DNS Records page 404 on some servers
  • Resolved
    Resolved

This incident has been resolved for now. We still have work to do but it's currently no longer your problem and that's the important part.

  • Identified
    Identified

Mitigated on all but witcher.mxrouting.net server.

  • Investigating
    Investigating

The DirectAdmin developers have pushed a change that breaks our DNS Records plugin page. These servers are currently seeing this:

The most significant reason for the DNS Records page as of this moment is to find your Domain Verification key. As a temporary measure, please attempt to add new domains via Domain Setup in DirectAdmin, and you will be presented with a dialogue that provides you with a copy of your domain verification key.

This workaround is not intended to be long term, this is considered a high severity event.

Inbound delay on glacier.mxrouting.net

We are currently experiencing a strange issue with Dovecot that is causing inbound mail delays on the glacier.mxrouting.net server. It has not been happening for long enough that anyone would likely have noticed, but we're putting up this status because it wasn't fixed in less than 60 seconds so we should get ahead of it.

Crossbox (mail.mxlogin.com) on glacier.mxrouting.net server acting up
  • Resolved
    Resolved

This has been resolved for most of the day, we just wanted to give it time to be sure.

  • Identified
    Identified

It is happening again. You can expect Crossbox to be down on the glacier.mxrouting.net server until the developers are able to address it, because this is not something we can fix. You should use an alternate webmail today if you can, like webmail.mxroute.com.

We are still waiting on a response from the developers of Crossbox. It is not within our ability to fix this while ensuring that no unnecessary problems are created from the fix.

    Investigating

Redis appears to be failing on Crossbox (mail.mxlogin.com) for the glacier.mxrouting.net server. We are investigating. Feel free to use https://webmail.mxroute.com or any other webmail, or email client, during this time.

friday.mxlogin.com unresposive
  • Resolved
    Resolved

This incident has been resolved. The cause of the initial issue was determined to be an SMTP-based DDOS attack. Nothing new for us, just a slightly new technique that should now be mitigated.

  • Identified
    Identified

Server went unresponsive. The issues that caused it to take so long to bring it back up have been fixed, but the original cause of getting to that point wasn't clearly identified. It looks like we're identifying that now.

  • Resolved
    Resolved

We have resolved this. The root cause is also resolved, ensuring that this will not happen again. At least, not the noteworthy downtime part.

  • Identified
    Identified

We're continuing to work on this. The issue is minor, there are just really poorly timed road blocks that are slowing this down.

  • Investigating
